一、参赛作品要求
室内乐作品(2-6人)
作品编制:自选乐器组合,2-6人演奏。
编制要求🤸🏽♀️:乐器组合需结合中国乐器和西洋乐器🛴。(外籍参赛者可选仅西洋乐器组合)
自选乐器请在下列乐器中选择:
小提琴🟤、中提琴、大提琴、低音提琴☝🏻、长笛、单簧管☑️、双簧管👩🎓、大管、圆号、长号👔、小号
古筝、竹笛、琵琶📗、二胡🖇、中阮💁🏼♂️🎲、柳琴、扬琴、笙🥶、唢呐
单人打击乐
作品时长8分钟以内,具体长度须在作品封面注明。
二、参赛对象
18岁以下(含18岁)青少年(在读本科学生除外),不限国籍。
三、报名材料
每人限申报一部作品👩🏼🏫,须提交清晰的乐谱(乐谱内需包含作品简介)🧟♂️,乐谱上不得署作者姓名及与乐曲无关的任何标记,参赛作品请提交PDF格式文件🧑🏻🚀🌮。
参赛选手须提交作品完整录音🏗,音频文件格式为WAV或MP3。
参赛选手须提交正确填写的报名表一份(提交文件格式为PDF或JPG),报名表可在意昂5登录网官方网站下载:

四、其他说明
入围决赛选手将在比赛现场进行8小时命题写作(钢琴独奏)
命题写作作品与入围决赛作品将共同参加决赛音乐会
两部作品评分成绩的总和作为决赛的最终成绩
备注:参赛作品必须本人原创,改编作品不在比赛范围内。参赛作品须从未正式出版及在其他比赛中获奖🧑💼。如违背以上比赛要求🧘🏼,组委会有权取消其参赛资格。

北京时间2026年10月10日中午12:00前截止报名🥞,参赛选手须将报名材料提交“音中奖”国际作曲比赛组委会电子邮箱。
北京时间2026年11月1日前在意昂5登录网官网公布决赛入围作品名单。
决赛音乐会及现场颁奖仪式另行通知。

获奖者拥有作品著作权。
获奖者须同意无偿提供并授子主办方如下权利:
主办方有权对获奖作品的乐谱以及任何形式的声像制品作非商业性使用;
主办方拥有获奖作品的首演权以及演出和出版优先权。
获奖作品无论在何处上演,根据获奖等级🌀👩👩👧,其乐谱封面或音乐会节目单上需注明本次比赛的获奖信息📿,例如:“本作品获得 2026 第七届【音中奖】国际作曲比赛三等奖”。
评委会对比赛的评定,为本比赛不可改变的最后决定。

Purpose
The “Yinzhong” Music Festival and the 7th “Yinzhong Prize” International Composition Competition was initiated by the Music Middle School affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music, as a major artistic event rooted in youth music education and centered on international music education and creativity. Featuring the composition competition, the music festival will also include concerts, academic exchanges, rehearsals, live compositions, master classes, and many other activities. These all aim to sharpen young composers’ artistic skills, expand their international perspectives, and deepen the integration of creation, performance, teaching, and research.
The “Yinzhong Prize” International Composition Competition seeks to foster a spirit of innovation, collaboration, and exploration among young composers, while pushing creative boundaries in musical language from fresh and insightful perspectives. Through continued exploration of competition formats that are both contemporary and educational, the competition encourages young composers to engage with current expressions of sound, structure, and aesthetics in multicultural contexts. In doing so, it promotes global exchange and mutual learning in music composition education for youth.
A cornerstone of this year’s “Yinzhong” Music Festival, the 7th “Yinzhong Prize” International Composition Competition runs alongside festival concerts, work showcases, thematic activities, and more. It will be an integrated platform for calls for works, live composition commissions, performances, and artistic exchanges, offering young musicians the open, professional, and international space they need to thrive.
Program Components
The “Yinzhong” Music Festival and the 7th “Yinzhong Prize” International Composition Competition is expected to include the following main components:
I. Preliminary and semifinal rounds, final round, and award ceremony of the 7th “Yinzhong Prize” International Composition Competition;
II. A series of lectures, academic exchanges, masterclasses, and related activities;
III. Concerts of works by young composers and related festival performances and showcases.
The “Yinzhong” Music Festival will take the 7th “Yinzhong Prize” International Composition Competition as one of its core components, focusing on youth music composition, the interpretation of contemporary works, international artistic exchange, and innovation in specialized music education. During the Festival, the organizer plans to present, through multiple concerts, work showcases, expert exchanges, and related arts education activities, the phased achievements of the Music Middle School affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music in cultivating top young music talents, advancing internationalized education, promoting original music education, and fostering cross-cultural artistic exchange.
The festival will further strengthen interaction among composition, performance, teaching, and research, and will promote the joint development of young composition talents and outstanding performance talents in authentic stage, rehearsal, and exchange environments. Details regarding program arrangements, participation methods, and specific schedules will be released through the official website and relevant platforms of the Music Middle School affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Rules and Regulations
The current “Yinzhong Prize” is open to the global submission of chamber music works that demonstrate artistic appeal, reflect the spirit of the times, and possess strong listenability.
I. Requirements for entries
Chamber music works (2–6 performers)
Instrumentation
The work should be set for 2 to 6 performers, with instruments selected from the list below.
For Chinese participants, the combination must include at least one Chinese instrument and one Western instrument. For international participants, an ensemble consisting solely of Western instruments is also permitted.

Western: Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Bassoon, Horn, Trombone, Trumpet
Chinese: Guzheng, Chinese flute, Pipa, Erhu, Zhongruan, Liuqin, Yangqin, Sheng, Suona
Percussion: One Percussionist
Duration
The work should not exceed 8 minutes. The exact duration must be indicated on the score’s cover page.
II. Participants
Young people aged 18 and under, excluding currently enrolled undergraduates, regardless of nationality.
III. Registration Materials
Each participant may submit only one work. A legible score must be provided with a brief introduction to the work. The composer’s name and any markings that are not related to the music must not appear on the score. The score must be provided in PDF format.
A complete recording of the work in WAV or MP3 format must be submitted.
One correctly completed application form in PDF or JPG format must be submitted. The form can be downloaded from the official website of the Music Middle School Affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music:

One recent two-inch identification photo must be submitted.
All the above materials must be sent by email to yinzhongprize@shmusicschool.com. The email subject line must follow the format: “Name + Application Materials for the 7th Yinzhong Prize”.
IV. Other Notes
Finalists will complete an 8-hour live composition assignment at the competition venue (a solo piano work).
Both live composition works and shortlisted works for the final round will be presented in the final concert.
The total score for the two works will be the final score of the finalist.
Note: Submitted works must be the participant’s original composition. Arranged works are not eligible. Submitted works must not have been formally published or have won awards in any other competition. In the event of any violation of the above requirements, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to revoke the participant’s eligibility.
Schedule
Submit application materials to the official email of the Organizing Committee of the “Yinzhong Prize” International Composition Competition before 12:00 noon (Beijing Time) on October 10, 2026.
The finalists will be announced on the official website of the Music Middle School Affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music before November 1, 2026 (Beijing Time).
The final concert and on-site award ceremony will be announced at a later date.

Note: The live composition assignment works will be performed by students of the Piano Department of Music Middle School affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
Relevant Rights
Award winners retain the copyright to their works.
Award winners agree to grant the organizer, free of charge, the following rights:
the right to use the scores of the award-winning works and their audio-visual products in any form for non-commercial purposes;
the right of premiere, as well as priority rights of performance and publication, for the award-winning works.
Whenever an award-winning work is performed, regardless of location, the cover page of the score or the concert program shall indicate the relevant award information of this competition, including the award level. Example: “This work received the Third Prize in the 7th ‘Yinzhong Prize’ International Composition Competition (2026).”
The Jury’s adjudication shall constitute the final and irrevocable.
The Organizing Committee of the “Yinzhong Prize” reserves the right of final interpretation of these Regulations.
